The frustrating part is that the default configuration simply doesn’t show the game at its best.
If I had to pick only three fixes that delivered the biggest improvements, they would be:

- Disabling background recording features in Windows.
- Running the game from an SSD and rebuilding shader caches.
Those three changes alone solved almost every issue I was experiencing.
