Introducing GDPR

The main obligations under the GDPR usually rest with organisations. These may be businesses or government departments or an organisation that handles or processes our personal information. It also applies to individuals running their own business.

The obligations apply if your organisation within the EU. It also applies if your organisation is based outside of the EU and offers goods or services to individuals in the EU or stores or processes the personal data of EU citizans.

The general data protection regulation is designed to strengthen and unify the principles of data protection of all citizans within the European Union and the European Economic area.
