Level 1 - 2 Days
Accounting is a fundamental element of business large or small, being able to perform accounting duties is a beneficial and impressive skill to possess. The Computerised Accounting Level 1 course equips you with the skills needed to complete accounts using the set-up company details in addition to customer and supplier records. You will learn how to navigate the nominal ledger, creating and amending nominal codes, utilising the Bank Module to keep track of your finances. Overall, you will acquire a good understanding of accounting in practice.
Progression - You can complete level 2 and level 3 once you have completed level 1.
Sage is one of the leading accounts software applications used in business today for processing accounts and producing various financial reports.
The aim of this training course is to provide clients with the necessary skills and knowledge which will enable trainees to manage their own suppliers, customers, produce sales invoices and credit notes and allow each client to process various reports at month end including VAT returns, monthly statements etc.
This course is ideally suited to any small to medium sized business in retail, service and the manufacturing industry. A basic knowledge of book keeping is required.

2UpSkill work with Island Computers & Training who are approved by Sage Ireland as their preferred training partner in the popular Sage Accounts software. Island & Sage have partnered in providing certified training courses in their accounts and payroll software Sage Line 50 Series and Sage Quick Pay. Island provide training in all versions of the software and is an approved SAGE Testing Centre allowing clients to certify their skills to a recognised level. You can book your test through either 2UpSkill or Island. Island Computer & Training will issue a certificate that you have completed a Thesaurus or Bright Pay Payroll course.
It is important that each client has basic computer experience and a working knowledge of the keyboard, mouse and be able to switch on and off a PC.
Ideally, each client would have access to a computer system where Sage Accounts software is available to maximise learning post training.
