I have worked in numerous jobs during my life which included working as a supervisor and had no formal qualifications. After being out of work I eventually worked on a Community Employments Scheme. During my last year there I was sent on a Supervisory Management Skills course and under the guidance of Charlie Mernagh I achieved a Distinction in the course. I was surprised to attain such a good result as I was out of the education system for 41 years and this I put down to the excellent tutor I had.
Charlie is a most professional and engaging instructor. He has done a number of supervisory training modules for us and the reaction from the students has been terrific. They all found Charlie to be engaging, interesting and extremely helpful. Some of them do not speak English as a first language and Charlie went out of his way to ensure that they understood everything. Charlie has the perfect combination of patience, understanding and genuine interest in his students. Clonmel Chamber has worked with Charlie Mernagh on a number of occasions over the last number of years. I worked with Charlie on an event called 'Boost Your Sales' in May 2010. When we considered hosting the event we decided straight away that Charlie would be the best person to deliver this type of training. He has a great training style. He engages with delegates and makes them relaxed straight away. The Boost Your Sales event was very successful and I found myself going away from the event full of ideas and 'fire in my belly' as a result of it.
