You are in charge of a department and or a team and are overworked and sometimes snowed under, does that seem familiar to you? Yes is most likely the answer that I am going to get, but why is that the case if you have people reporting to you and the reason you have people reporting to you in the first place is to share the workload, isn’t that true.
To find some answers to the question why managers fail to delegate and instead overload themselves with an unbearable workload that causes stress, fatigue and sometimes brings the manager to a point where they take a disliking to their role as manager, supervisor or team lead.
