Munster HR Associates Ltd (MHRA) began in the Thurles area in 2014 when Charlie Mernagh who had worked in the financial services sector for thirty-two years and Miriam Durack who had worked in HR and Recruitment for over twenty years began their own training company after spending over twelve months on the Tipperary Enterprise Start-Up Support in LIT Thurles.
For the next two years, the company grew slowly, working mostly on delivering open QQI Level 5 and 6 courses in Tipperary and Cork aswell as working with private clients and local Skillnets while gaining a reputation for quality services and reliability. In 2016 the original company was found not to be scalable because of the brand name, 2upskill was formed and a new e-commerce website was built to allow the sale of both class-based courses and online learning.
Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre the home of 2upskill
Our office is based on the LIT Campus in Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre, Thurles Co Tipperary and we have three employees aswell as a team of qualified trainers who can deliver Business, Computer and Safety courses in-house and as open courses. Because of our association with e-learning specialist our clients have access to a suite of online courses in the following categories, Business, Safety, Computer, Compliance and Finance. All of the courses have an assessment at the end and once the learner achieves a pass rate of 80% they can download their certificate of competence.

We tailor courses to meet the needs of our clients and that is an area we are proud to say has been very successful as we now work with both the private and public sector and more companies are asking for bespoke courses to meet their needs in a very competitive market.
